Impolitikal was active between 2014 and 2018, as a media platform and network with a focus on social, political and economic issues.

We were an international community of journalists, academics, activists and citizens, who weren’t afraid to challenge the status quo and stand for something.

We offered a media alternative that questioned norms and interrogated power, by highlighting and supporting those living and working on society’s margins, connecting the dots between seemingly disparate groups, and helping people to find and use their voice.

Our Editors were based in Manchester, Berlin, London and Brisbane.

We’re no longer publishing, but our work remains online – at least for now! Take some time, dive in, and critically engage with our collection of work.
