Sarah Illingworth

Sarah Illingworth is Editor at Impolitikal. She launched in May 2014, and has driven the brand’s development while running the site itself. She has an MSc in Poverty and Development from the University of Manchester, and has worked for the last 15 years as a freelance editor, journalist and communications professional*.

Her interests lie in creating opportunities for people to work together to address social and political issues, particularly those that affect vulnerable groups worst-affected by inequality and discrimination. She believes everyone’s story is important.

*Sarah is currently working full time as a Communications Manager with the Open University’s Learning and Teaching Innovation portfolio.
